D.S

I didn't start in tech. I started in geology, studying the Earth, reading data, making sense of systems that don't announce themselves. Somewhere along the way, I realized code does the same thing. It has structure, logic, and layers. And once I understood that, I never looked back.

I'm Chinwendu, a frontend developer based in Texas, building web applications that are fast, considered, and built to last. My stack is React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, and Framer Motion, but I'm really obsessed with the space where engineering meets experience, where a well-written component becomes something a real person actually enjoys using.

I've built for sustainable energy companies, non-profits, educators, and public health professionals. Every project is different, but the standard stays the same: clean architecture, responsive interfaces, and code that doesn't fall apart six months later.

Outside of client work, I write technical articles, contribute to open source, and volunteer with Code the Dream USA and Summer of Tech New Zealand because I remember what it felt like to be new to this, and I think the community is worth investing in.

I take the work seriously. I take the craft seriously. And I'm always looking for the next problem worth solving.
